Just North of New York City, Westchester Emergency Medical Services (WEMS) provides care and transportation to the people of Westchester County, New York. WEMS provides both local transportation for people travelling within the county, and long distance services for people travelling to or from areas inside Westchester.

Our Paramedic Response System operates primarily in Northeast Westchester County, but is available to neighboring areas through the Mutual Aid System. We cover the Municipalities of Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, New Castle, North Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge, and Somers. This includes the hamlets of Armonk, Baldwin Place, Bedford Village, Bedford Hills, Chappaqua, Croton Falls, Golden's Bridge, Katonah, Lincolndale, Millwood, Purdys, Scotts Corners, South Salem and Vista.
